Hey everyone... On the 28 of September, as part of my fashion course, my peers and I visited Liverpool to go see the exhibition at the Tate... :D ... When we arrived we were told that we were not allowed to bring our cameras in which is a shame because I can not show you a visual for what I'm gonna discuss. The room that most appealed to me was the top room because as you entered there was a wall with headphones hanging on hooks. We were invited to put the headphones on and choose a channel. For each channel there was different music that would play into the headphones. I choose the funky disco music because it was fun. With the headphones on and disco playing in my eardrums I entered the room and viewed the art. This was a completely different concept to viewing art and I found this a lot more interesting than silent room full of people staring at art. People were bobbing their heads to the beat and a few of my peers plucked up the courage to dance on the lit up dance floor in the centre of the room. This exercise confirmed that music creates emotions.

Halloween, Dress Up Party? Oh Wait its Visual Kei
Alice Nine
Versailles
Believe it or not, all of them are guys even the one in the red dress? or whatever he is wearing. This style emergered in the late 1980s, pioneered by bands such as X Japan, D'enlanger, Buck-Tick and Color.
In my opinion, they all look like they are attending a dress party and a VERY, VERY posh one. :}

Edgar Mueller
Edgar Müller/Mueller was born in Mülheim/Ruhr, Germany on 10 July 1968. His fascination with painting began in his childhood, with paintings of rural scenes of Straelen. He went to the high school in the neighboring town of Geldern, where an international competition of street painters took place. Since 1998 Edgar Müller has held the title of 'maestro madonnari' (master street painter). The title is awarded at the world’s largest street painting festival, called The Grazie Festival, which is held in the small pilgrim town of Grazie in Italy. Around the age of 25, Müller decided to devote himself completely to street painting.
This link is a video of how he create his work;

Shoes!!!!!
I went to Roebuckfest today with my boyfriend and met up with the band that he is in. While we were waiting for them to come around I started looking around at what people is wearing. They were all wearing like normal clothes but I keep noticing the shoes that they're wearing. So when I came home I went and look at shoes and I found shoes that attract me the most.

The First Study Book That I Like.
One of my hobbies is reading books that doesn't have anything to do with reality, why do I like books like this? Simple, this books activate all the creative ideas in my mind. They inspired me to create new things. But there is a kind of books that I would to anything just to avoid reading this kind of book. This books are school books or anything to do with studying, why? I found them boring and a waste of time because it's either be forgotten after a few days or week or you don't actually need that information. But in the first time in my life, I found a book that is connected with studying and I am now extremely obssess with.
I found an interesting book yesterday at the library. I was doing research for my current brief for college, I wanted to find different technique on fabric manipulation and embroidery when I found a book called Metal Thread Embroidery by Jane Lemon(embroiderer). This book just doesn't give information about embroidery it also explain the materials, tools and explain how to do the technique, but that's not all! The book also got a page on places you can visit to observe or do research about metal thread embroidery. It doesn't finish there, there is also a page on where you can purchase supplies of metal threads. I learn a lot about embroidery and different techniques, this is all thanks to this book.
